Book Expo America with Dr. Ruth and my G-Spot PlayGuide

My main reason for going to NY was to attend Book Expo America at the Javitz Center in Manhattan. Here are some links to some videos of my experience. Link one and Link two.

Here is a link to some pictures of the building, myself with my G-Spot PlayGuide distributor (SCB Distributors), me and Dr. Ruth (yes, she is still going strong and doing her thing to help couples everywhere), and also my author autograph session where the G-Spot PlayGuide was a hit. I was the only author (that I could tell) who decorated my table and certainly the only one who had a vulva puppet and a feather boa to spice things up at my book signing table!

They put me on the overflow table after my time was finished, since it appears that G-Spot books are in hot demand, even in NY. Kudos to the fourteen men who braved the throngs of women to grab my book for their significant others! One man has been married for 34 years and was picking the book up to give to his wife as a surprise. I’m so impressed. That truly is a secret to maintaining passion in your relationship, trying something new even after 34 years.

New York City visit for G-Spot PlayGuide promotion at Book Expo America

NYC was a blast and I am proud to say I love NY! Here’s a link to a small photo album of the 400-500 photos I ACTUALLY took so you can get a taste of it, for those who have never been there.

 I saw Times Square, the Dakota Building (where John Lennon was killed), boarded the Staten Island ferry, hugged the bull on Wall Street, walked through the Strawberry Fields Forever Memorial to John Lennon, toured the South Street Seaport, and looked out over the new World Freedom Center (formally World Trade Center site) all within my 5 ½ hour whirlwind NYC tour which was amazing! Many thanks to Tyler, our aspiring actor tour guide with On Board Tours, who made the tour experience memorable, fun, interesting, and one that I want to bring my husband back to enjoy. New Yorkers are the friendliest people I have ever met which was a pleasant surprise, and the police presence was prominent and a lot of them were very nice looking so it was a pleasure to watch New York’s finest monitor, direct and protect the city! The next time I go, I’ll do a tour of the sex shops (which aren’t many since the clean-up) in Manhattan. Age of Aquarius

“When the moon is in the seventh house
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then Peace will guide the Planets
And Love will steer the Stars
This is the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius…”

I’m sure that many of you recognize these lyrics…but did you know that THIS year these words take on a literal meaning?

That’s right – On February 14th, 2009, the moon will be in the seventh house and Jupiter will be aligned with Mars.  What does that mean? Well the resulting energies have to do with transforming relationships and a bunch of other stuff.

So if you’re into astrology try taking about 5 minutes around 7:20am (in any time zone) and focus on planetary healing.  If you’re not so into astrology, look at it as another reason to make this Valentine’s Day the most romantic ever!

My travels in November 2007

Just a brief note to show you some pictures from my November travels. My sweetie and I went to a B & B in Victoria and had a luxurious few days enjoying the king-sized bed and lovely jacuzzi soaker tub and fireplace!

Then for the fund raiser in Tofino we had a gorgeous ocean view (and sound) room. That’s me by the wooden whale on our way back home. Man, those Tofino women are wild!
